Quick note: We often wear masks of who we want to portray. We wear these in response to not wanting to be vulnerable, or not wanting to be seen as weak or insufficient, or because we simply choose not to face what is really there. We wear masks because they are comfortable, at first, until a time comes when a small crack appears. This crack serves as a reminder to face those ‘unbearable’ or ‘unattractive’ truths of who you are. Accept them. Find courage in understanding yourself, your influences and influencers. Be open to your path of discovery without prejudice or harm.
