Butterflies fluttered around her head like a halo whenever she smiled. Lightness injected her heavy spirit and she glowed a warm indigo. It was difficult to pull your eyes away from her alleviated and loosened cheeks, her magnolia teeth interspersed with the fullness of her pink tongue poking through its gaps. So much weighed on her little shoulders, but whenever she smiled her little shoulders relaxed. I once believed she floated, that her little feet would never touch gravel again. Her smile transported me to a place where nothing in that moment of time mattered more than her happiness.
